We want you to vote! No not in that election silly, in the Virginia Chapter elections happening on November 15th. (Although you should vote in all national and local elections too.) Our all-volunteer chapter needs volunteer leaders to step up to help us run the chapter.
The volunteer positions of Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Volunteer Coordinator are open for two year terms. People can nominate themselves. Please just notify the Chapter Chair Aimee at Chair@vb.surfrider.org and John Weber, the Regional Manager at Jweber@surfrider.org. We can provide descriptions of the volunteer positions jobs and the time commitments.
So please mark your calendar and attend this meeting, Monday, November 15, 2021 at Dewitt Cottage 1113 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in person nominations and voting.
