On Saturday, October 10 we teamed up with Seatack Elementary to create Virginia's first Ocean Friendly Garden!
Ocean Friendly Gardens focus on CPR: conservation, permeability and retention. The previous space was overgrown and flooded easily. Now, with the help of students, faculty, staff, parents and the community, there is a pesticide free garden full of local plants!!
