At the recommendation of state agencies and the CDC, Surfrider Foundation has canceled all future events for the next 30 days as of March 16, 2020. We are bummed to miss all the fun events, but we want to do our best to flatten the curve and look out for one another.
To beat the cabin fever, below are several resources that are informative, fun, and great for all!
Want to make an impact in your community and clean up the beach?
Check out this video from Surfrider Foundation Mid-Atlantic Manager, John Weber!

You are able to practice safe social distancing with the 6 ft rule at most of our beaches. Feel free to clean up in your neighborhoods and anywhere near a waterway, too! The trash and debris will eventually end up in our waterways.
Don’t want to get outside or don’t feel up to it? We’ve got you!
Below you’ll find a link to environmental films and documentaries to watch at home, books to read, and podcasts to listen to organized by Surfrider Foundation Leadership!

The Washington D.C. Environmental Film Festival will also be streaming some of their feature films too.

Our efforts to flatten the curve helps to bring us all to the other side faster, safer, and stronger.
